Game 18: Mets vs. Rockies @ Shea Stadium

Time to re-up after yesterday's heartbreaker.

The Good: John Maine pitched 7.2 innings for his third win. Jose Valentin would homer and add a sac fly to put the Mets up 4-1. Carlos Delgado would then hit his first home run of the season, a two run blast, in the seventh inning.

The Bad: Good game played by both teams.

Overall: It was good to see the Mets come out and win after a terrible loss.

Notes: Clint Barmes collected a golden sombrero by looking terrible at the plate all night long.

Final Score: Mets 6, Rockies 1. Record: 12-6.
