Game 131: Mets vs. Phillies @ Citizens Bank Park

Big game for both teams as a the Mets take on the Phillies in a crucial series.

The Good: Paul LoDuca had two hits in his first game back.

The Bad: The Mets make another no-name pitcher (Chad Durbin) look like Cy Young, have their big batters get shut down, and experience another not-so-great start by Brian Lawrence. The Braves also won their game.

Overall: Why is Chase Utley so good? Why does Pat Burrell do this? Why are they both Met killers? This was a big game and I hope it didn't set the tone for the rest of the series/season.

Notes: Paul LoDuca was activated off of the D.L. before the game and Pedro Martinez allows an unearned run in six innings pitched. He looked sharp and said he felt good in his latest rehab outing. Billy Wagner also said he felt fine after a few days off to heal his dead arm.

Final Score: Mets 2, Phillies 9. Record: 73-57.
