Game 25: Mets vs. Marlins @ Shea Stadium
Mike Pelfrey on the hill tonight as he looks for some consistency.
The Good: Aside from the three-run first inning, Pelfrey looked great. Joe Smith continues to dominate. David Wright finally showed signs of life by hitting his first home run of the season. He collected three hits and barely missed a second homer.
The Bad: Heilman continues to struggle and cost the Mets games, . The Mets tried to cut a three run deficit but could not tie the game. Heilman would blow any chance of a comeback by allowing two runs to score. Carlos Beltran was robbed of a deep drive to center and the Mets had two runs gunned down at the plate.
Overall: In their last five home games against the Marlins, the Mets are 0-5.
Final Score: Mets 5, Marlins 2. Record: 15-10.
