Game 29: Mets vs. Diamondbacks @ Chase Field

Recent minor-league addition, Jorge Sosa, would try to showcase some of his untapped talent.

The Good: Sosa pitched a great ballgame, allowing only two runs after he had been taken out of the game. Shawn Green continued to thrive in Arizona by hitting another home run and driving in three runs. Carlos Delgado also continuss to fight his early season slump - he collected two hits, two walks, and scored two runs.

The Bad: Not much to complain about - would have liked to see Sosa's inherited runners get stranded, but a great start nonetheless.

Overall: Fourth straight win, 13th consecutive at Chase Field. Mets back in first.

Notes: Ambiorix Burgos was demoted to AAA New Orleans to make room for Sosa.

Final Score: Mets 6, Arizona 2. Record: 19-10.
