Game 76: Mets vs. Cardinals @ Shea Stadium

Tom Glavine looks for win 297 in tonight's start vs. the Cardinals.

The Good: The Mets get a rained-out win, Glavine gets win #297, David Wright provides the offense with a homer off the scoreboard, and Carlos Gomez caps the highlight reel with a full speed leaping grab against the wall in left field.

The Bad: Not much.

Overall: Take it.

Notes: Tom Glavine recorded the first Met "complete game" of the year and almost threw the first Met *no-hitter* in history.

2 Cents: Some good luck is finally on the Mets side with tonight's win. How sweet would it be for Carlos Beltran to hit Adam Wainwright's curveball tomorrow night?

Final Score: Mets 2, Cardinals 0. Record: 43-33.
