Game 70: Mets vs. Twins @ Shea Stadium

It's Oliver Perez's turn to try to turn the Met fortunes around yet again.

The Good: Same old, same old. The Mets scored early (on rbi hits by Carlos Beltran and David Wright), things looked good, and then blew the lead.

The Bad: Another series, another loss.

Overall: Bad times continue in Queens. Hopefully, the summer brings better times to Shea.

2 Cents: Oliver struggled a bit but pitched well enough to win if the Mets had hit. Joe Smith keeps on taking the brunt of these losses by allowing meaningless hits. Scott Schoeneweis HAS GOT TO GO! Twins just looked like they wanted it more. They played excellent defense throught the entire series.

Final Score: Mets 2, Twins 6. Record: 38-32.
