Game 30: Mets vs. Diamondbacks @ Chase Field

The 0-3 Mike Pelfrey would try to turn things around against Livan Hernandez.

The Good: Mike Pelfrey pitched well enough to win. Jose Reyes would steal his major-league leading 19th base.

The Bad: Mike Pelfrey lost once again, dropping his record to 0-4. If he can only find a way to keep the opposing team off the scoreboard early, it would do him wonders. Ruben Gotay probably tried a bit too hard to get on the highlight reel tonight. The Mets were without Paul LoDuca, Carlos Beltran, and Moises Alou.

Overall: The Mets had to lose sooner or later in Arizona. The Met loss ending their 13-game winning streak at Chase Field. Tip your hat to Livan Hernandez, who pitched a heck of a ballgame.

Final Score: Mets 1, Diamondbacks 4. Record: 19-11.
