Game 44: Mets vs. Braves @ Turner Field

Jorge Sosa looks to go 4-0 on the season.

The Good: Paul LoDuca's three hits and Ambiorix Burgos' two shutout innings.

Th Bad: Jorge Sosa was hit pretty hard for his first loss of the season. Even Kyle Davies took the Mets deep with a long three-run shot to center.

Overall: Still can't beat the Braves or Kyle Davies.

2 Cents: In my opinion, Delgado's first inning double play really set the tone for the Mets and gave the Braves some confidence. However, I'm not really sure if it would have mattered but it might have given Sosa a boost as well.

Notes: The Mets announced their opening of a new state-of-the-art training academy in the Dominican Republic.

Final Score: Mets 1, Braves 8. Record: 28-16.
