Game 51: Mets vs. Giants @ Shea Stadium

After a thrilling walk-off win, the Mets send Tommy Glavine to the mound as he looks for win number 296.

The Good: Tom Glavine pitched good enough to win and Guillermo Mota returned from his 50 game suspension and looked great in his two innings of work.

The Bad: Glavine takes another tough loss by allowing three early runs which the Mets weren't able to recover from. It marked the first time all season the Mets have been shut out. The Mets made solid contact numerous times but did not find and open field. Barry Zito beat the Mets for the second time this season.

Overall: Can't win every game. Look for the series win tomorrow.

Final Score: Mets 0, Giants 3. Record: 33-18.
