Game 62: Mets vs. Dodgers @ Dodger Stadium
The Mets start a brand new series and try to right their wrongs as they head to Chavez Ravine.
The Good: In his first game back, Shawn Green singled to left field and ended up with an rbi as Jose Reyes came around to score. He would then steal a base which only proved that he's healthy. David Wright would follow with a hit and the Mets scored two runs in the first. In the fourth inning, Carlos Gomez would single to right to score Carlos Delgado and the Mets were on their way to a win. Unfortunately, the tied turned in the bottom of the fourth inning.
The Bad: After being handed a four run lead, El Duque would allow five runs (four earned) and would take the loss. Paul Lo Duca made a costly error in the sixth inning and the Dodgers would take advantage of it by scoring a run that would contribute to the difference.
Overall: The Mets started strong and fizzled out.
Final Score: Mets 4, Dodgers 6. Record: 36-26.
